Feng Shui Crystal Cures For The Holidays

Sparkle never goes out of style.”
– Chrishell Stause
The season is beginning to hum with what makes life sparkle. Parties, noshing, social commitments, holiday shopping and decorating your home (check out these Feng Shui holiday decorating ideas) not to mention caring for your family and maintaining your career – you need a super power to get you through. With that in mind I present the unwavering faceted crystal as your ally. I personally have experienced its beauty and strength. It symbolizes the light and generating power of the sun. It will fortify your energy to create a sense of harmony where your Ch’i needs to be uplifted. So if it’s chilly outside, make a warm beverage, have a seat in your most comfortable chair and pull up your most cozy throw. May these Feng Shui Crystal cures brighten your home and add sparkle to your day!

Frost covered windows, whirlwinds of golden leaves, nimbus clouds dominating the sky and the shrinking light can affect your mood,  influence your focus and feeling centered. Your enthusiasm may become dampened and your health regime could take a hit. Go to the center of your home to regain your inner composure. A home with a strong center gives you a sturdy base. To feel balanced again hang a 50 mm faceted crystal (Swarovski preferred) in the center from a red cord in increments of nine.

When life is in transition anxiety may increase. Early fall is a transitional time. Autumn winds often disperse Ch’i. This causes your liver some degree of irritation and you could become reactionary and discontent. If support from family and friends evade you this could aggravate your disappointment. Go to the center of your bed and place a 50 mm crystal between the mattress and box springs to set things straight.

Need extra cash for holiday shopping or a long weekend getaway? Perform The Three Harmonies of the Wood element: Wealth, Career, Relationship. Draw a rectangle of your house. Identify Wealth, Career, Relationship on that drawing. If you wish to improve your finances, go to the Wealth gua and place a 40 mm faceted crystal there. Visualize there is an appendix in this area. See your visualization in detail that the Wealth gua protrudes beyond the house. You are creating an auspicious extension. This is the “regular” way to proceed.

However, if you wish to further empower the placement of the crystal in the Wealth gua, place two more crystals. Place one in the Career gua and one in Partnership. These guas are in a Three Harmony relationship with Wealth. This adjustment then becomes the Three Harmony of Wood (as Wood is the element residing in the Wealth gua). Now you have greatly enhanced the position of Wealth.

Feel like money slips through your fingers? Does fatigue cast a shadow over you as soon as you enter the house? Likely you have a stairway facing the front door. Not only will your wealth be affected but your health as well, particularly the organs along the midline specifically your heart. If you rather be with family than at the hospital over the holidays, place a 50 mm faceted crystal between the front door and the stairway. Visualize the crystal is protecting you and preventing precious Ch’i from leaving the house. The bonus: its beauty will dazzle your guests.

The holidays are hard on many people, especially those less fortunate, infirmed or elderly. Take every chance you can get to do something for someone else. Like making them a cup of coffee or brightening their day with a smile. It all builds up, the small and the steady and things are created faster and faster then if you just do an occasional big deed. Be persistent. Practice kindness.

Want Wealth? Mirror Abundance With Feng Shui

“The daily practice of gratitude is one of the conduits by which your wealth will come to you.”
–Wallace D. Wattles

Warmed with food and spiced with sweet greetings and joy, Thanksgiving day our homes mirror simple abundance. and invite a timeless grace to wash over us filling our hearts with love, laughter and appreciation.

We can reflect this feel-good abundance often. A mirror in the Feng Shui metaphor has many functions. It draws in auspicious Ch’i, expands an image, strengthens an image, reduces a threat plus much more. If we want happiness, a robust career, prosperity, success for our children, a loving relationship, time for travel…Feng Shui can support our desires. In deep gratitude for you I am sharing seven wealth cures I believe will bring you comfort and joy for the holidays.

If you want more wealth. Place a mirror on your office desk face up in the Wealth area. Your intention creates a deep well to hold the money you gain.

If you want draw money in quickly. Place a concave mirror in the Wealth gua of your home to attract money quickly. It may come in the form of a lump sum from a single source.

If you want to expand the range of money sources, place a convex mirror in the Wealth gua of your home or bedroom to expand the dimensions of offerings.

If you are working hard and are seeing no results for your efforts especially in the area of financial gain, you may have a contrary door (the door opens to a wall). Place a large mirror (do not cut off   the head of the tallest person in the house) on the wall to dissolve the blocking wall.

If you have felt closed off and stifled check the placement of your bed. If the foot of the bed is close to the wall, place a mirror on the wall at the foot of the bed to broaden your thoughts. You may be inspired with big ideas about making big money.

If you and your partner argue about money, place a round mirror above the bed in the bedroom to soften harsh words between you. You may come to agreements quickly and plan how to use your finances more equitably.

If money comes in and goes out quickly, place a convex mirror over the door in the Wealth gua to absorb money that is leaking out the back.

If you are hindered by bad luck in your financial dealings, place a mirror on the ceiling above the stove. It will lift up your assets as the stove is symbolic of your money source.

Thank you for being here. I appreciate you! Please have a healthy and happy holiday season.

Welcome To Good Fortune

“At least once a day, allow yourself the freedom to think and dream for yourself.”
– Albert Einstein

Opportunities for good fortune are everywhere and those who are prepared seize the moment. Preparedness is when your heart and mind are in coherence with what you wish to accomplish. At the heart of the simplest success story is the alchemy of clarity and focus. These attributes are the building blocks for that momentum which fulfills one’s goal.

It’s no secret that wealthy people understand that focus, clarity and preparedness combined are the daily strategy for good fortune. These folks listen to their inner voice and keep a consistent attitude. They believe in their self worth; it is the hallmark of their success. They are alert, innovative and turn over every stone when it comes to generating new ideas. They ‘think outside the box’.

If you are looking for inspiration in your career or want more time to enjoy life’s pleasures or desire to increase the good fortune in your life, now might be the time to reflect upon where to expand your thinking. Who better to turn to than Albert Einstein for some pithy insights. I also included four ‘uncommon’ Feng Shui adjustments that may help you broaden your perception about how our environments influence our ability to make and keep money.

Have holy curiosity
Persevere in every endeavor
Use your imagination
Make mistakes
Create value
Spend time alone

BTB Feng Shui Money Cures

Lift the Ch’i of the House A fan (the type that can lay on its side) on top of the house can save you from serious financial difficulty. Take an old fan and place it on top of your roof, horizontally not standing up, so the wind will blow it. Make sure it is connected and works. You do not have to hooked it up electrically. You do not have to keep it running. But you need to be able to turn it on so make sure it is set up properly. It raises the Ch’i not only of the house but of everyone in the house. That’s the yin piece of the cure. Place it on the tallest part of the roof.

Capture the Winds of Change If you are suffering from financial loss place something associated with a wind mill into the Wealth corner of the Bagua. Or place it into the Career gua to generate money from your career. Or place it in the Family gua so all the members of your family will make money. Or if you need a new beginning in your financial life you can place a windmill or an image of one in the Family gua. Good fortune will soon arrive.

Pray to the Divine When you want to make a decision about money and you have difficulty deciding what to do such as buy a house or not buy a house; if you are unclear or cannot focus on a course of action to take… choose a Buddha as your deity. For example pray to Acala Buddha, also referred to as the “Immovable Buddha”. He is the Buddha of Roosters (in the Chinese Zodiac astrology). Praying to this Buddha will help you decide on a course of action or focus, in this case, on the issue of money.

Cultivate Intuition “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift…”(Albert Einstein). The yin of wealth consciousness is practice connecting to your intuition daily whether it’s spiritual breath work or meditation. A half hour of this type of inner work, what Tony Robbins coined your ‘30 minutes to thrive’, will increase your ability to make accurate decisions when dealing with money. If you do not have a special room to practice, check out my June 2018 blog, Sacred Space Is Where You Find Yourself  for how to create a space of your own.

A Feng Shui Money Cure To Make The Season Bright

“Our beliefs, mindset and emotions are the keys to an abundance mentality and attracting wealth effortlessly”
–Juliana Park, CFP

There are people who stay afloat in the most difficult of financial situations. They are not subject to the whims of a bear market nor a real estate slump. Money always seems to be within reach. How they maintain the flow of positive experiences in their lives is they practice wealth consciousness. Wealth consciousness is a belief immersed in abundance–an abiding affirmation that beauty, meaning and relationships exist in the world and surround them. They do not dwell on loss nor lack. They let go of the anxiety that seeds scarcity. They vanquish fear because they understand the law of attraction: what their mind attunes to, expands and becomes manifest.

To live at this level of certainty requires a shift in perspective and money will come. Evelyn Lim explanation of wealth in terms of money sums it up: “If you think of wealth in terms of money, then you will need to believe that there is plenty of money to go around and you have a share in that too. To be conscious of all the abundance that is available to everyone, to be aware there is plenty of money for everyone, is to have wealth consciousness.”

If you’ve been less than happy with your finances, managing your money affairs, even seeing results from your Feng Shui wealth cures, maybe doubt is flooding your consciousness. A closer examination of your beliefs about wealth, monitoring your thoughts about abundance and directing your attention away from lack can produce extraordinary results.

Envision there is plenty of money for everyone and this mythical Feng Shui money cure will surely put extra cash in your pocket to enjoy the holidays. Because sometimes all it takes is one decision, one adjustment, one cure to create lasting, positive change.

Three Legged Toad To Gather Wealth
Ch’an chi, the Money Frog
A fortune frog or money frog, is a mythical three-legged frog with red eyes and blazing nostrils. It carries a coin in its mouth and sits upon a pile of gold coins or Chinese cash with a string of coins at its feet or a crown around its head. The coin has a good fortune symbol and faces up to attract wealth and the crown or string of coins around its feet offers protection from misfortune. The coin in the mouth of the toad, specializes in calling forth wealth and it is said to be calling out to other coins. Legend says the creature emerges on the full moon to sit by the door of people with wealth and good fortune headed their way. The myth goes on to say the toad loves money and treasures.

Look for the following characteristics when buying the Lucky Money Toad:
Red eyes
Three legs
Seven star formation on its back
Five-Luck Coin of Emperor Qianlong in its mouth
Sitting upon coins or golden nuggets

You can place the Three Legged Toad either in your home or office. Either place it in the Wealth gua of the home or office, or you can place it in the Wealth gua of your office desk.
Here is the secret within the secret:
Every day during the day, place the toad facing the main door. Visualize that the toad is going out during the day to seek wealth and bring it home. Every night at night, face the toad into the home or office. Visualize that the toad is returning with lots of money. It is important to commit to this secret movement every day. Otherwise, you lose money (Professor Thomas Lin Yun). Adding a ruby (or red stone) in the middle of the ancient coin in the toad’s mouth symbolizes “kissing the stone”, a homonym for “sure profit.”

I have not purchased from these sources but the images and description meet the criteria for the Three Legged Money Frog.

2014: The Year of Choosing What Is Right For You!

How to make your intentions clear and achieve your goals.

I am delighted the new year and new moon have arrived. I have been waiting for this time, my narcissus bulbs burst opened New Year’s eve, filling the air with their heavily scented, white blossoms. The Chinese believe that a daffodil (narcissus species) bulb, when forced to bloom during the New Year, will bring good fortune and luck to a home. This is definitely a sign it will be a lucky year and I want to share that luck with you. January 31, 2014 is Chinese Lunar New Year, The Year of the Wood Horse. It is another opportunity to invite good fortune. Add yellow daffodils to your front entry (symbolic of career) or dining room table (represents your access to money) to enhance either one.

American culture leans towards celebrating the New Year with a bang and then everyone hits the ground running. And it’s an established western practice to set goals so we can measure where we’ve been and where we’re headed. It can become an important aspect of our spiritual development. But I have found making a list alone doesn’t create a realistic way to achieve my goals. I’ve discovered that by taking personal time the first few days of January creates a clear mental space where I can focus on new beginnings. I have created a ritual that makes the process dynamic. In many ways we’re all alike, we want to achieve similar goals: either get a better job, more money, a bigger house, a new car… But there is something else that doesn’t surface often enough. It is what makes each one of us unique. It’s precious and that is why we protect it and keep it buried in our hearts. It’s a feeling, a need actually, to satisfy a deep fulfillment of purpose, of usefulness and of expression. This need is the missing link to achieving your goals.

Uncovering this link is what makes you come alive and feel real joy in success. You create measurable results when you express your passion through your intentions. And the way to coax your passion into the open is by soliciting the right/creative brain to do the job.

In Feng Shui the name this is known by the “Yin”. There are many qualities of Yin, but for right now the one I want you to experience comes under the heading “reserving a day for yourself”. It is about totally letting go. Emptying out. Tapping into your still water. Surrendering your schedule. Design a mini-retreat, one that will make you feel totally special. Start with dumping your phone, iPad, computer and TV. Eliminate agenda and preconceived notions of how you think this should work. Devote your energy to entirely pleasing your senses: take a bath or soak in a hot tub. Treat yourself to a meal you might not have time to enjoy. It doesn’t need to be extravagant but it should be soul satisfying. Choose to go meatless. Select foods that arouse your curiosity. Take a leisurely walk in Nature. Dedicate this time to being silent. It will help you to settle deeply into your body and feel relaxed but alert. You will connect to the inner movement of your being. Silence will help you focus inward and as you create an inner dialogue you will tap into sensations you might not have noticed before. You may pick up subtle fragrances in the air and see the colors in a landscape more vivid and intense.

Like a beautiful string of pearls these orchestrated moments expand into a lush space that will incubate your dreams. This place of expansion, this field of dreams, is where your intuition sends clear messages. It is like sharing a conversation with an old friend and the old friend is your infinite intelligence, your subconscious mind. The entire scenario I just described is a ritual that your right/creative brain comprehends completely. Your left/rational brain and its lists, goals and activities become cradled in passion, purpose and expression. Your goal setting becomes infused with real creative fire. And this is how magic begins! Now you have both the left and right brain communicating. The clarity you cultivated becomes your intention – and it will execute your will. When you’re back to your normal routine you will notice a perceptible difference: not only will you set the world on fire, but execute your ideas with successful results and life will be a little more extraordinary.
