Confront life situations where you are fearful. Fear is the lower emotion of Water/Kidney Ch’i. Journal daily. Examine where you feel you need to be right. Make a commitment to live consciously and in the present moment.

Balance rest with work and daily activities will boost your vitality. Adequate sleep nourishes your Kidney Ch’i. Arrange the Feng Shui in your bedroom to help your body let down and rejuvenate. Place your bed in command position to the bedroom door. Remove unnecessary electrical equipment to eliminate electromagnetic energy. Choose bed linen colors that are health sustaining like green and soft blue.

Add nine plants to your front entry. Plants are life force and vivify your Ch’i. In Feng Shui, the front door, the mouth of Ch’i, represents your career, reputation, Helpful People and health.

Rise Up In The Year of the Fire Rooster.

The Chinese New Year is the most propitious event of the year that welcomes a fresh start. During the first weeks, the year is still unformed, impressionable and receptive to our intentions, expectations and wide-eyed guidance from our dreams. But how do we maintain our enthusiasm throughout the year? If you are like me and feel you see quicker results when your goals are nurtured with inspiration and diligence, I have a Chinese secret for you. Some years ago Professor Lin Yun, Master of BTB Feng Shui, taught his students there are three elements needed to master success. Deceptively simple yet very powerful these three aspects are: time, location and human factors. Throughout the year I write about the influence of location – Feng Shui on human factors. But once a year I present on “time”  – Chinese Astrology. It’s my belief by sharing the Chinese Zodiac animals’ forecast it will spark a yin-yang balance and help you make accurate decisions on when to make your best move, when to rest and when to let your light shine.

Rat Thank your lucky stars that you have them because this new year you are in a mutually offensive relationship with the Rooster. These lucky stars will avert the bad luck present and steer you towards good fortune. Though your money luck will be fair, your acquisition of it can only be obtain through conventional means. It is not a year to speculate. You may experience a series of small illnesses but they do not cause you harm. The male Rat will not have as good of luck as the female Rat. The Rooster dons a crimson cap, a mark of literary sophistication! It claws its enemies, what martial prowess! It calls to its cohorts when food is available, a creature of compassion! It fights to the death with its nemesis, what bravery! The great Ali portrayed many of Rooster’s exceptional characteristics with authenticity being his most outstanding trait. He leaves a legacy for us all, “be true to yourself’”. September 13 New Moon. Mercury Retrograde and Rooster.

Heaven has a lot in store for us this month! September 13 new moon + solar eclipse, Mercury Retrograde, September 17, 2015  and August 27, full moon + lunar eclipse. Dig deep and plan your strategies for the fall. Review your goals. Beautify your home with a Feng Shui remodel or redecorate. If you need stability or to strengthen your boundaries add earth tones – all range of yellows, oranges and brown tones, you could even stretch it to mocha and chocolate. Take more self care opportunities, schedule a mini-retreat by getting a massage, going to a Nature park or sit in silence by water. These fruitful labors will yield an abundant harvest. 

If you find the retrograde a challenge the Rooster will have your back.
